The YAKSHA partners have identified 5 groups of stakeholders likely to be interested in YAKSHA’s activities. This section provides information about these target groups and the impact the project outcomes are expected to have for each of these groups.

SMEs and large corporations

SMEs and Large Corporations

  • YAKSHA will contribute to developing a safe cybersecurity environment that will create more opportunities for SMEs and large organisations, particularly those who uses ICT as its main business model. This will particularly benefitted ICT based start-ups who will directly benefited from a better cybersecurity environment.
  • YAKSHA will develop operational scenario and business model for cybersecurity software that will support both SMEs and large organisations to increase safety against server hacks, disclosure of client data, financial transactions and improve overall safety or their business.
  • The creation of YAKSHA label of excellence will also become an opportunity for SMEs and large organisations to adopt this label and therefore increase their credibility. In a long run, there will be more end-users who prefer SMEs and large business who has YAKSHA’s label of excellence due to their increase safety and overall better cybersecurity management.
Critical infrastructure organisations

Critical infrastructure organisations

  • YAKSHA will contribute to developing a safe cybersecurity environment that will help critical infrastructure organisations be more effective and reliable in pursuing their activities of public interest. This will be particularly useful for hospitals or prisons managing sensitive information and target to hacks which considerably slows the effectiveness of the work and the reliability of the organisation.
  • YAKSHA will develop cyber-attack scenarios and promote cyber awareness to help critical infrastructure organisations increase their safety measures against server hacks, disclosure of client data and improve the overall safety of their activities.
  • The acquisition of the YAKSHA label of excellence will help critical infrastructure organisations in increasing their credibility and level of safety.
  • YAKSHA will provide regular information on its activities and disseminate reports intended for public knowledge that will serve to inform media channels or NGO’s interested in ASEAN and EU-ASEAN cooperation on the topics of security, defence and technology governance.
Government organisations

Government organisations

  • YAKSHA will contribute to developing a safe cybersecurity environment that will help government administration better manage the confidential nature of their activities on a day to day basis.
  • YAKSHA will develop cyber-attack scenarios and promote cyber awareness to help government bodies increase their safety measures against server hacks and disclosure of confidential information.
  • The acquisition of the YAKSHA label of excellence will reinforce state level ASEAN and EU relations in defence and security cooperation.
  • YAKSHA will address targeted ASEAN policy makers with state of the art reports and recommendations on the climate of cybersecurity in the region and in specific ASEAN countries.
  • The YAKSHA project will help develop international cooperation relations in the field of cybersecurity between EU and ASEAN experts.

Knowledge, Research and Development Organizations

  • YAKSHA will support universities, vocational training and research and development organizations in generating new knowledge, technologies and products and educating experts to provide organizations with cybersecurity competencies and resilience to cyber threats.
  • YAKSHA will bring together researchers, end-users and companies to aid in collaborating research approaches addressing potential cybersecurity needs in predominantly ASEAN, as well as in EU countries.

Associations, network of organisations and other interested parties, incl. media representatives and NGOs

  • YAKSHA will contact associations and networks of organisations representing the interest of SMEs and large organisations active in the domain of cyber software or subject to cyber threats in order to address cyber related problems of the members, and raise awareness on the merits of a safe cyber technology for increasing their business activities.
  • YAKSHA will provide regular information on its activities and disseminate reports intended for public knowledge that will serve to inform media channels or NGO’s interested in ASEAN and EU-ASEAN cooperation on the topics of security, defence and technology governance.
