ICT 2018 took place in Vienna on 4-6 December 2018. This research and innovation event focused on the European Union’s priorities in the digital transformation of society and industry. It aimed to present an opportunity for the people involved in this transformation to share their experience and vision of Europe in the digital age.
The YAKSHA project was selected to be a part of the exhibition, with a stand at the INCO – International Cooperation Village, which was part of the 5 000m² exhibition area. Overall, the exhibition showcased the best accomplishments and pioneering results of EU-funded research and innovation actions, international cooperation, and Austrian initiatives. The INCO village in particular displayed successful international collaborations with the EU’s key partners from around the world. This is where the representatives of YAKSHA project engaged with visitors and explained the aims of the project, opportunities to get involved, and exchanged ideas.
ICT 2018 also proposed online as well as offline possibilities to network. Thematic networking sessions were organised by stakeholders attending ICT 2018. These networking sessions were informal group discussions that seeked brainstorming and active interactions between participants. YAKSHA had been granted the opportunity to animate a thematic networking session titled and also to hold a thematic networking session titled “Cybersecurity Issues and their Possible Solutions: a Co-creation Approach”.
